Delete your data

You can permanently delete your herdtest account and the personal data tied to it at any time. Here's how.

Delete your account yourself

The fastest way — it takes effect immediately:

1

Log in to herdtest.

3

Under Close account, confirm. This erases your name and email, removes your public profile, and permanently closes the account so it can no longer be logged into.

Signed in with Google, Facebook, or GitHub?

Log in the same way you signed up, then follow the three steps above to close your account.

You can also revoke herdtest's access from the provider itself:

  • Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → herdtest → Remove.
  • Google: your Google Account → Security → Third-party apps & services → herdtest → Remove access.
  • GitHub: Settings → Applications → Authorized OAuth Apps → herdtest → Revoke.

Revoking access stops future sign-ins with that provider, but to delete the data we already hold, still close your account (above) or email us (below).

Request deletion by email

If you can't log in, email [email protected] from the email address on your account (or the one tied to your social login) with the subject Delete my data. We'll verify the request and delete your data within 30 days.

What's removed and what's kept

Removed: your name, email, public profile, and the ability to log in. Your account is closed permanently.

Kept, briefly and de-identified: records tied to completed payments or required for fraud prevention and legal/accounting obligations may be retained in a de-identified form for a limited period, then deleted. These are not linked to your personal identity.
